Sean Taylor
To overcome writer's block, working in more than one project at a time. If you get stuck in one, goes to another.
Writing is editing. Editing is writing. No first draft is perfect. Same as the second or third draft.
When you finish the first draft, keep enough distance from it in order to get a view as objective as possible before editing.
The character is king. You should know many details of your characters, although many of those details do not appear in the final text.
Always do the best for your story, not necessarily the best for your characters.
The trials are lawyers, accountants balances do writers write. You're defined by what you actually do, not what you say you do.
Do you want to get published? Develop the following skills: Interact, write and interact.
The plot is not history, nor are the characters. The story is something magical happens when the plot and the characters are.
The comic dialogues should be half as large as you like. Short, short, do not flood the board.
Locked? Try writing your piece of fiction from an alternative viewpoint or as "non-fiction." Try a different voice.
Learn to write from another point of view is difficult but useful. Try, for example, the point of view of the opposite gender without the references obvias.O try to use the point of view of someone of another race or stratum socioeconómico.O perhaps the point of view of someone with more or less educated than you.
Read about escibir not write. Writing is writing. Knowing sports statistics makes you a knowledgeable, play on the court makes you a player.
Sounds hard force arrests in reading, soft sounds flowing even in your head. Read your text aloud to make the sound work for you.
Writing nonfiction does not mean write generically. Having a "voice" is the reason that makes the essays by Annie Dillard does not read like those of Lewis Grizzard.
Invest in a good dictionary and a grammar guide, and keep them handy. Never trust the spelling and grammar of the computer.
A narrative triangle is made of small triangles narrative, not just one, the principal. At intersections is where the story appears.
A good dialogue gives the illusion of sounding authentic. And, always, the character real.
